Title of Bulletin Board: Traffic Light Nutrition

Category: Nutrition

Suggested Grade Level: K-5

Materials: Red, yellow, green paper, traffic light pictures, food and word cut outs

Description:

This board is used during my nutrition unit. It is colorful, bright and helps students understand when it is "ok" to eat different types of foods. We speak about how often to eat certain foods, and which foods you should eat in moderation. I play a little traffic light movement game with them which helps students understand the different colors of the traffic light. It is perfect for your lower grade elementary students!!! They love the comparison of foods with traffic light colors.
